When the Nintendo DSi launches on April 3rd Wii points will become Nintendo points. This is to accommodate the software downloads that will be available on the new handheld console. The new Nintendo points cards will be available in shops in time for the DSi release.
Nintendo points will also be available to buy from the Wii shop channel and the DSi shop or in shops as a 1000, 2000 or 3000 points card. The points can be used to buy games and content for both the Wii and the DSi.
